Our congregations ste...funny that this was posted. Our congregations stewardship kick-off was today and we made the choice not to go to the service because it's uncomfortable for us to sit with our congregation, knowing that when it comes time for us to be asked to give, the only choice we have to say no. It's upsetting to us, and we feel guilty, and it's embarrassing.<br />Am I going to discuss our finances with a member of the congregation for stewardship purposes? no. probably not.<br />BUT would I be willing to sit with a member of my congregation who has offered their services as a financial counselor to help our family figure out how to put things in order and ease our spirits from the stress that money problems can bring? absolutely.~Kat~https://www.blogger.com/profile/13910327288366042238noreply@blogger.com
